Veloheads home mechanic courses

10th September 2015

Veloheads premises

Veloheads are running home mechanic courses for the second year running, starting at the end of September 2015. The Home Mechanic course is for those new to bike mechanics, or wanting to consolidate existing skills, and the Advanced Home Mechanic course gives you the oppportunity to fully strip down, service, and rebuild your bike.

The courses take place in Veloheads' dedicated training workshop, at their premises in Starbeck, Harrogate. Participants will have their own work bench, bike stand, plus tools, degreasers, and lubricants. The teachers are qualified and experienced mechanics. As much tea and coffee as you want is included!

Carl Nelson of Veloheads said, 'We ran these courses last year, and they were very popular. Lots of people in Harrogate and Knaresborough like to cycle, and many of them are keen to learn more about their bikes, and how to maintain and repair them, so there's a demand for training courses. We've got the right space, equipment, and trainers. I expect these courses to sell out, so get in touch early.'
